Finally, after 10 years of viewing and waiting, I have closure. Smallville has come to an end, Clark Kent has, over 10 years, gone from social outcast teenager, to Football jock, to university and successful reporter to finally become, the man of steel. The show has survived a writers strike, a move to the Friday night death slot as well as having lots of DC characters from the Superman mythology.

Sure there have been times when the show hasn’t been so great, stories have dragged on, characters have become whiny and annoying, villains have been destroyed with ease when they are unstoppable in the comic books. Also, due to media politics, there have been characters that should have appeared in the show but haven’t, like Bruce Wayne/Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern etc but, que sera sera. It has been a good run and it will always go down as one of my all time favourite shows.

Smallville has been the show that got me majorly into the superman genre, suer I loved it before but Smallville is what got me into it majorly, seeing as the superman movies were made long before I was born. Smallville is the only TV show that has made me want to buy some of the prop replicas. I have the Jor-el memory necklace, the key to the ship and Lana’s kryptonite necklace. Wanting to buy the book of Rao and other things.

As I said at the begining, I feel like I have closure and I feel I am better for it.
