Well, after my last blog sank like a lead balloon I thought I would do another.
This is just an update blog so don’t worry.
urmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Well, since my last post, I have not been doing much HAHAHA. Went to Dublin for my brothers Stag do (bachelor party), I have been to Dublin before but it’s either been to go straight through or for just the day.
I knew as soon as we got there it would be a good one. The taxi driver from the airport was awesome. He was helpful and extremely funny, but funny in a way I’ve never heard before.
We got to our apartments and we actually had 2 penthouse apartments and a 2 bedroom 1. How the hell we got penthouse apartments I do not know. They were awesome. To top it all off, it was amazingly sunny and the apartments were fairly close to where we were going and close to shops where we could buy beers.
The first thing we did was to go for some lunch. I had the Irish Stew and it was AWESOME!! I’ve never had a nicer Irish Stew in my life.
We then moved onto the shop to buy booze and we started the drinking before we had to go to Trinity College to start our guided pub tour. Good pubs, some free drinks and the other groups that were with us were awesome too, we had some beautiful American girls with us and they were the nicest I have ever met. From what I can remember after that, we hung out with them for the rest of the night.
The morning after I was ill. VERY ill. Up at 7am me and my brother decided to go for a quick wander as we were the only ones up. We found a Tesco store (swear to god they follow me them places) and bought some stuff and came back. after everyone got up we went to the Guinness factory for the tour and possible pull your own pint experience.
We got in and walked around, got to the level where you can do the pint pulling and the queue was massive. We decided to wait for a while but we were waiting for about an hour so we went upstairs to the 360 degree view to get our free drink.
We came back and started drinking a bit (I napped lol) and then went out again. We went to Eddie Rockets for dinner and went to the temple bar.
FUCK ME ive never been as cramped or robbed in my life!!
we found hard rock and got cheap cocktails … my brother takes the piss outta me for getting a strawberry daiquiri but I like them, and its all that would stay down. We moved on to a bar where there was a local singer. We got to the front near him and he was such a good sport. He played most of the songs we suggested and he did them well. So of course we had to keep buying him drinks. The best moment was the sing alongs we all did. Good irish songs and good pop songs and we even got him to play Journey!!
He was only supposed to be on until about 130 but we got him to stay until closing. Throughout the night we even got people chanting our town name so everyone knew about Gary’s stag do from Chorley. There were also speakers on the outside so everyone in earshot heard it all.
To make things even better, the beautiful American women came into the bar
After we got back we went to bed, woke up the next day and all came home.
So to summarize;
