Well I’ve been back from Florida for about 2 days now so I thought I would update you all on how it was.

We got to Manchester on the Tuesday as Virgin had an offer to give us a free hotel stay the night before. We took the offer so we didn’t really have to get up so early and get stuck in traffic. So that was fun.

We got to the airport and were one of the first to check in, BUT … Apparently most people checked in online so that didn’t leave a lot of seats available :\ … We got some seats and then just went through to duty free until our flight was boarding. I’ve always said I would rather get there 30 mins early and have to wait than 30 seconds late and not get on.

So anyways, we got onto the plane and it was apparently the newer plane in virgin’s fleet, it wasn’t as big as the usual jumbo I have been on but the entertainment system on board was amazing!! There was a huge choice of movies, tv shows and music on demand. In previous flights there were limited movies and if you switched onto the channel half way through the movie or show you couldn’t go back.

The flight eventually landed (after about 9 hours of breathing in recycled butt air) and we got into Orlando and into the hotel. We did our usual routine of dumping the cases and going to the all you can eat across the road and then going to the wallgreenes store down the road. OMFG I love that store, it’s amazing!!

The first day we woke up at like 6am as we weren’t used to the time difference yet. The good part about that was we got to see the sunrise from our hotel room, my god it was beautiful. We also did another routine … THE FLORIDA MALL!!!

What a disappointment! The main purchase I was going to make in Florida was my iPad … There was an apple store at the Florida mall but when I went in they didn’t have any in stock, they would have a delivery later that day but they didn’t know what was going to be in the delivery. How could they not know?!?!

So we persevered and carried on around the place and most of the awesome shops we usually went to weren’t there!!!

After we determined that place a disaster we decided to go to the mall at Millennia. That place was amazing!! Not only did they have an FYE they also had an apple and a hollister … Not expecting much and being a little disheartened about the other apple store, I reluctantly went into this 1. I used the iPad to request assistance and asked if they had one ….. And they did!!!! I was overjoyed to say the least.

I think I’ve spoke enough for 1 blog and only got to the first day!! Holy crap lol il update with another later on.
